election time!

Today I'd like to talk about the school elections next week. There are many students from all three middle school grades running for the various offices--my sister Louise is running for Vice President -- and I’m running for FAIS CAIS ambassador. This is the perfect position for me, and I’d really like to do it. Here are a few reasons why to elect me:
1) I am personal friends with many FAIS students and therefore I understand why they aren't as close to many CAIS students as they could be.
2) I plan to have at least one meeting every semester where both FAIS and CAIS students get together and learn about what they think of the other school and learn about the different cultures.
3) I already know a lot about student government because my sister Louise has been a class rep for two years in a row, and has kept me and my family posted on how it works.
Our school building is like a big family, and each school is a sibling. Siblings usually get along, but they also have a conflict every once in while. There needs to be people to make sure that the schools don’t grow too far apart from each other, like there needs to be a rubber band to keep a pencil and a notebook together. I will be the rubber band from the CAIS side keeping the schools together. I believe that our schools should stick together and be a big, happy family.
